Cam Switches are classified mainly in four types – Instrumentation, Isolator, Multistep & Changeover. These switches are manually operated, independently programmable control switches for main and auxiliary circuits with up to 24 contacts and are offered with switching angles of 30º, 45º, 60º or 90º. A focussed standard range of Ziegler Cam series Rotary cam switches cover most of the applications with different contact design, contact material and terminal allow their use as a control switches, instrumentation switches and motor control switches, as well as in electronic circuitry and in an aggressive environment according to IEC/EN 60947-1, 60947-3 and 60947-5-1.
